Awesome Video. I took a bunch of friends out on my 60' yacht. They where flyig right over us literally just 100' above. It was awesome. Bad news was that everyone but myself and my 3 year old got sick lol. Had to leave early and get the puke party back onto land heheheheehe

Great vid! Loved the marking from the 16, 18s, and 35 during their high-G turns.

I was at the Lyon Air Museum over at OC Sunday where the Mustang and the Breitling team were staging from but I was clueless there was an airshow going on anywhere until I got on the 405 right as the Snowbirds were rejoining overhead...at 100'...

Nice... usually hate music added to vids like that, often having nothing to do with the subject or mood.

But that was very nice... AND you have the sound of the planes.

    Just very nice.

Dumb question of the day: was that 'marking' from midships "natural/real" or additive for show?

Not a "dumb question". The vapors are condensation from the turbulence coming from the strakes and wings. A lot of the air is routed to maintain flow at the vertical stabilizers and rudders. I don't know if I explained very well but it's from a drop in temperature and an increase in velocity. High energy air and visible lift..

    Good question. All natural...

Easy way to think of it is the wing is making a cloud. With the right temp/dewpoint spread, the increased velocity of the air at certain points on each surface, and the resulting pressure decrease, allows water vapor to form and this causes the cool vapor show. Under the right circumstances, the vapor remains as condensation trails...
