HD (Vimeo) video from 599XX #42, 2010 World Finals Valencia Last Session 4 Cameras

I've been enjoying all the insights, perspectives and opinions on this site for a while, so I figure it's time to add some contributions of my own. I have a lot of onboard video from driving at the 599XX events, between 30 and 45 minutes in length each. Not sure how many are actually interested in this, so I'll start with the last session from last years World Finals in Valencia.

It's not the best technically, and when I get some time I'll do a better composition of the feeds, this was one of the first experiments with combining multiple angles. But it should give an good idea of what it's like to be on track with a lot of FXX and 599XX cars, I think we were about 28 cars sharing 14 or so turns, so lots of traffic to deal with.

The driving pretty much speaks for itself, I was the last to get on track, so letting cars with warm tires by for the first couple of laps (I manage to get some wheelspin going out of the pit, and two cars sample the gravel on the first two laps, so plenty of reasons to start out slow. The tires were already pretty worn, and for the last third there really isn't much grip.

The main angle is from inside the right side of the windscreen, but to get the front wheel and the steering wheel in I ended up placing the steering wheel to the right as well, that takes a bit of getting used to. The newer videos are better in this regard.
