Greetings: The switch at the base of the headlamp stalk has suddenly quit working, regularly. Does anyone know who mfg'd the switch (Bosch?) and where I might find one?

Please explain "not working". When I bought my car when you turned the lights one they went up and right back down. This was one of my first tips from this forum. You can pull the end off the switch and in may case a solder joint had cracked. I quick dab of solder and it was fixed and still working 8 years later. Explain what is wrong and there might be a simple fix. Fixing is often cheaper than buying....but not always.

Bundas, Unobtainium? I'm new to this website and don't know the players. Who, or what is Unobtainium?

I come from a racing background, back in the 60s&70s "Unobtainium" were secret factory parts that mere mortals could not buy; for example, titanium connecting rods...

It is this guy, a long time FChatter with a good reputation in making and fabricating parts that are NLA. Unfortunately, the link to his website seems not to be working or might be NLA itself!

    Hello Bud Byrnes,
I'll be happy to help you with your column switch.
You can always reach me by clicking my name by a post & then selecting [Send MAIL to Verell]
Or get my phone # from my web site:

My apologies, my website quietly went off the air & it was a few days before someone brought it to my attention. A call to Dotster customer service got it back in half an hour or so once I knew I had a problem. Seems I need to upgrade some of the code in it, but they gave me a couple of months to get it sorted out.
