AUS Headed back to Georgetown, TX; any FChatters?

    Hey folks! My Louisiana project is wrapping up, and it's looking like I'll have a nice hiatus before having to hit the road again. Since our properties in North Austin are rented out, we decided to try Georgetown on for size, and will be renting there for a year while I figure out our next move. This bodes well for me to have some time to participate locally.... at least until baby number three makes its arrival!

    There seems to be some kind of car gathering the third Saturday of the month in the town square, so there is some car culture locally. Anyway, not sure who's in the area, but maybe I'll see y'all around.

    Been a member since 2019 :D. Just had been away from home for increasing longer stings. The last major event I made it to was either Ford v. Ferrari, or the COTA track day about two years ago. Most recent was maybe a year ago over at Moorespeed. I may try to make the F1 Gala this year; I went a few years ago and had a good time. I'm sure I'll see you soon at one of the events!

    I’m a fan of Lakeway, just not the traffic! Although we have a little less hill country than Lakeway, we have fallen in love with Georgetown. I’m fairly certain we’ll be buying a house here.

    Yes indeed(!) there is a chapter of the Ferrari Club of America in Austin - the Hill Country Chapter. We have 2 events a month, one an informal breakfast meet up and then a drive some where, usually for lunch. We have over 200 members and love to drive the Prancing Horses and enjoy talking all things Ferrari.
    Fo example this coming weekend, the 14th, we have over 25 Ferraris on a drive to lunch in Round Top Tx where we'll meet the Houston Chapter and a second group of 25 Ferraris. Two weeks after that we have a breakfast meet-up.
