We live in Huntersville in a subdivision called Wynfield. We're right off exit 23 on 77. I also have a 348 TS. PM me and I'll give you all the details.

 

I'm sure that things have changed. But back in the days of my misspent youth, the hottest thing around in Charlotte on Saturday night used to be the Blue Light special at K Mart.

That's great. We live on Taunton Drive, the first stop sign you come to when entering Wynfield. When you come up to the stop sign, take a left and we're the 6th house on the left at the corner. A 4 column white colonial. If you have time you're more than welcome to stop by. I have my office at the house and am here just about all the time. Would love to put a face with a name.

I can also introduce you to a realtor who is a friend and fellow Ferrari owner Brian Caughman. He has a 1998 355B and lives just down the street. He specializes in property around the lake and would be a great asset for you.

to and from starbucks is the traditional run for my boxer...might see you there soon. consider cornelius as well. i live in the peninsula and it seems to be a nice place so far.

i also like river run...a good choice.

 

JoTec: Looks like you'r getting good advice and being shown the right choices. We live in Birkdale now, and are building in the Penissula. The pedestrian experience in the Birkdale area is addictive. we're going to miss it when we move in a couple of months. All are good choices. MEE TOO! I am actually moving to the area on sunday myself! If anyone sees a blue land rover discovery towing a red mondial on a car trailer that would be me. I am dropping my car off at a friends in Cornelius. Will probably end up living in the Boone area though. My wife and I are soooo ready to get out of Florida! I may have to take Bella out for a spin on Sunday eve so she can get a breath of fresh NC air! Anyone?

We are getting quite a few Floridians calling about the Lake Norman area right now. I guess when hurricane season hits, people start thinking about getting away from there! I had some clients out today where are moving from Boca. I may be around on Sunday if you take your car out for a spin. I live very close to Cornelius. My 355 needs to have her legs stretched a little as well.

If you can make it that would be great!!! It is about an hour from where you are now.

 

Don't forget the Lake Wylie area of NC and SC, if your business will require you to spend much time in uptown Charlotte. It's a very easy reverse commute from South Carolina into Charlotte - you get in quickly, and see all the traffic stopped coming down from the North. Plus, SC has no auto inspections (can you say aftermarket exhausts?) and sales tax on vehicles is capped at $300. It a car collector's paradise.
