    I am tidying up my engine bay and want to know what colours/finish the following items would have been originally:

    1) Header tank
    2) Air-Filter cylinder
    3) Air box & lid
    4) Blow by tank

    At the moment 1,2 & 3 are all black gloss, and 4 is Hammerite silver. The car is a 73 euro-spec 246GT

    All advice welcome.

    You are correct on the hammerite silver but the other 3 items should be semi-gloss black.
