    Hello, I have a 07 f430 coupe.
two months ago, one of my headers I is cracked.
need to change, I thought Capristo and replace them with blankets heat
about to pull the trigger, but my dealer has offered me for the same price
headers brand x-ost + ecu remapping tune made in Italy.

My dealer tells me Capristo steel is low quality.

someone has experience with X-ost headers, there is little information about this brand

There is much information about Capristo, but any negative experience with headers Capristo?

    any help is appreciated.

Capristo steel low quality? Capristo is fabricated in Germany unlike some other brands made in Taiwan. That's news to me.... I'd like to know who is providing this information and on what basis? As far as I understand, it's the 309 type which is higher grade than the type 304 used by competing brands including AP, Fabspeed and others.....

    Please provide more insight?

    Cheers

my dealer is based on his experience he has had to weld and repair some Capristo systems.
    X-ost uses steel 304
my spider sense tells me that my only wants to sell their product.

    I appreciate these things
    not more collectors security cracked
    sound
    decrease heat
    performance
    not in that order.

the only thing I like offering my dealer is remapping the ECU tune
    estimated a profit of 40-50 hp .....

40-50 HP gain? I don't think so. Sure you will get some gain .

I'm basing this on what I've read here over the years. Ferrari would not have left that much HP on the table .

I have the Capristo Twin Sound system with their headers, blankets and mounting bracket. No issues with the system at all.... although when the valves open up, it gets loud!

    Cheers

Watch out for AP headers. I have them on my 430 with the ceramic coating and so far they have melted two ebrake cables! My car is sitting in the garage not driven until I can find a solution. Blankets maybe but they will void the AP warranty.

I had an X-ost system on my 360. Really good - no problems and a lovely sound

I'm going to take a leap of faith, I trusted my dealer and I decide to headers x-ost + ecu remmaping.

within a month I'll be able to give my point of view and if it is true that the quality, sound and performance is increased as they have promised.
