    ok, two questions:-

    1) How do you remove the knob - unscrew, lever off, hit with big hammer ?
    2) Has anyone got a spare one as one if mine's missing.

That's it. Short and concise for a change !

I can use an Allen key in the hole to wind the motor up or down so know the knob contains an Allen key, I'm just not sure if it just pulls out and am loath to break the other one.

They unscrew. If you hold the knob while someone works the switch, it will come off.

Absolutely correct - they do indeed !

Silly sod that I am I took it off motor #1 to make sure it fitted on motor #2. I totally forgot it had a reverse thread and tried for 10 minutes to screw it on, thinking all the time the thread was damaged on #2. Giving up I then went to refit it on #1, promptly dropped in behind the motor and then spent 15 minutes trying to find it. I eventually did and then realised the thread is reversed so fitted it in 10 seconds to #2.

This car has a habit of eating everything that's important but it won't beat me, no sir-ee !!
