As part of my LED headlight conversion, I started studying the headlamp adjustment Pins/Screws for the Headlight assemblies. I found that there exist x3 headlight fixing points on each side of the vehicle. The outer pins on each side are adjustable as the shaft is threaded.. (Head Lamp Attachment Screw) whilst the inner ones are a fixed length or non adjustable and have a "knurled" shaft. The part numbers are as shown below. 148086 (HLAP)Head lamp Attatchment Pin x2 148088 (HLAS)Head lamp Attachment Screw x4 I have the crazy idea of replacing the inner pins with screws so I can adjust the headlight oven more further out as part of an attempt to create some more "wiggle room" for the fan cooled H1 LED bulbs. In its current form screwing out the outer two pins to create more room just shifts the beams more to the centre of the car where the ferrari badge is as the inner HLAP. are fixed.. ( ie crosseyed) Has anyone ever tried this.. ? or does anyone think it would work..? Also does anyone know if there exists a cheaper cross reference part number from another make/model vehicle forAdjustment Pins. Ive been almost $200 for the set by Ferrari Melbourne.
