    I noticed on TAV 117 and in Dinorestoration.com photos that the wires coming out of the back of the headlight bucket had an additional connector for disconnecting. Why was this necessary when the connectors to the back of the bulbs also could be fed back through the headlight bucket if you wanted to remove them? Was this done on all of the series (L, M, and E) or just some?

    Totally normal and correct. The second set of connections allows you to remove the headlight or the complete bucket separately.

    Interesting. The headlight wiring harness for 06618 doesn't have those extra connections and this looks original as the wires are covered in the original protective covering.

    Perhaps this is another example of something that changed during the Dino production run.
