    Tried to take out the left front headlight to exchange the bulbs which seemed to be quite easy acc. to owners manual, but it was not. Impossible to get the headlight unit out from the eye lid, and yes it is in the max open pos. Have anyone discovered the same or have any trix?

    I had similar problem on my 348. I cannot remember exactly but I loosened (maybe removed one) the bolts/nuts behind the headlamp holding the whole light assembly to the chassis. This allowed me to lift the eye lid just a bit further up. Make sure you mask well the member in front of the headlights to prevent any paint scratch.

    Fixed it by unscrewing the four bolts that holds the entire front light casing a bit. Then it was possible to open up the eye lid a bit more. This is not stated in the owners manual in the section for bulb exchanges. So, it's more complicated than the instruction tells and nothing you do easily beside the road.
