Took delivery Fri in the rain and noted one headlight had condensation under the glass.
I know this was a not uncommon problem in the 360 and 430.Overnight in garage it evaporated.
Had no such problem in my Italia and not aware if this has been a problem in other 458's.
    Anyone?
    Will report to dealer.
PS The spider is gorgeous! Silverstone with 2 tone blk/ciuio int

I had the same problem with one of my headlamps on my Italia. It was quickly replaced under warranty. Mine resolved quickly too but I just didn't want to worry about there being something awry. May as well get it taken care of under warranty to avoid regrets later for not getting it taken care of. Yeah, how 'bout them pics!

I have not seen this problem with my 2010 458. Sounds like a quality control issue from the factory that effects a few cars. I am sure the dealer will fix this under warrenty.

Sounds like a great combo for the Spider. Same as my previous F430.
    We are all awaiting pics.

I have a 2014 458 spider and was caught in heavy rain on the way back. It’s a RHD car and the passenger side headlight unit has a huge amount of condensation. I’d like to take the unit out, remove the bulbs and let it dry out - anyone know how to do this as at my first look it’s not obvious how to take the unit out. It’s an AFS model

    Many thanks

Update on the condensation. It just seems to be one of those F things. Met up with some fellow owners, dry day but winter. We had 812, 488, 458 and so on. We all had condensation inside the headlights. Still can’t say I’m comfortable with it as surely it will lead to discolouration etc at some stage, but at least I know it’s not just my car (yes, herd mentality schadenfreude I know)
