Hi all, front left headlight flickering. Works intermittently, i would like to replace both front xenons. Any suggestions on websites to order the bulbs?

    Thank you,

I just looked it up and it looks like they are around 3-5k per side - yikes.

was able to pull the weather trim, and shroud off, got the bulb out and it is easy to see that the bulb is burnt out. should be an easy fix. will post pics in the am

got the culprit out. Definitely looks burned out. Sourced the light on amazon, got a pair for a hundred bucks. Will update with the new install. 100 is much better than $5k :/

I sourced the 458 mechanics manual and got the whole thing done with
    1. flashlight
    2. torx screwdriver
    3. allen wrench
    4. latex gloves

Now, the question is whether just replacing the bulbs will be good enough or if the ballast might be bad. Will update when they arrive.

Don't know what happened with your ballast, but you can likely source a direct replacement outside of the dealer. On the Audi B7/A4, the $300 ballast from the dealer is the exact same ballast as the Chrysler 300..which is <$100 from Chrysler.

The Xenon headlamps and ballasts are all made by suppliers all over the world. The trick is to find who makes yours and source them.
