Yup Have tried two right hand side headlamp pod motors...a new OEM and the original that has been renovated with new diodes. Both work in as much as the pod goes up and the pod goes down but...... the pod comes up at a slightly slower speed than the left one...looks pretty bad when operating... Tried swapping relays but made no difference. What can i do to get the pods opening at the same speed? They used to be perfect until the right hand motor refused to close the pod. I had this renovated and in the meantime fitted a new one that i had as a spare. Both motors open the pod at the slower speed. Any ideas???
If they are both moving slow, then maybe full power is not reaching the motors for some reason. Check the grounds for that line.
It is possible that you have a bad connection in the wiring to the RH motor introducing resistance. Check the inline connector of the black wire and its connection to the ground and make sure that the grounding point has good ground. Also check the connections of Fuse #4 and connections of the red wire to the fuse block and at the inline connector at the motor.
