Hey all, I am tall and if i want to use the headlights or god forbid the highbeams its pretty difficult. Has anyone shorted the headlight stalk to make it a similar length to the turn signal? Ian 1978 308 British converted to LHD
I added a 3" extension behind the steering wheel to accommodate my height and give me room to maneuver my legs and switch gear.
Highly recommend to first bring the steering wheel forward with a one or two inch spacer (the Hill Engineering ones are perfect and come with black screws that match original Momo wheels well). https://www.ricambiamerica.com/sws01b-25mm-steering-wheel-spacer-black-finish.html I’m 6’2” and simply using the 1” spacer made a dramatic difference. All of the sudden, I no longer had to drive with legs open at 90 degrees and my knees weren’t hitting everything. I still have the 2” spacer somewhere but never felt I needed even more space
