    Guys since this forum has been amazing for me i will
    Document here my replacement of the headlight stock from the TR with the lever of a Lancia unit.
    Just got the part from italy today and the levers are the same. Next the disassembly and assembly of the lever in the TR unit. I will

    the headlight stock from the fiat 124 spider ( 124 DS or pininfarina, so latest modell from the 124 spider serie ) looks also the same

    But ... Romano .... you can still order a real oem one at Ferrari Factory for over € 1600 ...

    Now for a reasonable price :D

    This is good to know for many people although since I also have a Lancia I will have to scour the breakers yards for testarossas being dismantled if my light switches fail..

    The problem is that those are not new and will break. The only way for this plastic not to break is to do what this company does in the us:
    It is interesting that so many NOS switches are available on line- for a fairly high value---YET—they are all OLD- ( NOS = New Old stock). The culprit here is TIME. There is little that you can do about that. The die cast molds for these parts have long ago been melted down to make Hyundai’s and Honda’s- So, our only choice is to make them better than they were. We use non-shrinking Dental plastics ( Methacrylic) and reinforce with stainless steel .

    I would not buy a used ferrari unit off ebay for sure

    Did you manage to make it work? I bought the Lancia stack but the very white part (gear) that breaks is slightly different, and as a result, after swapping the parts the lights do not work (parking lights are ON in the 0 position etc).

    I did but eventually this requires some welding and stuff so I just had odd part fix it for like $600
