Thought I would help out with some headlight issues and things I’ve learned. My euro non-xenon lights have the following: Up and Down adjustment via a long white plastic tube that has a hex end. It’s accessible in the front compartment by removing the oval grommet. If you turn it clockwise, the lights angle up. If you turn it to far clockwise - nothing will happen except the rod inside the white plastic adjuster will disconnect from the little hub inside. To fix, turn hex counter clockwise until lights start to angle down again. To fix, you can follow Aldous excellent advice on his website... I cleaned things up, roughed up the surfaces and applied 2 part epoxy: Image Unavailable, Please Login Other things I learned... and have seen unanswered questions on various forums on this matter - if you are in Europe and you want to switch your lights for driving on the other side of the road (for example if you are going from France to U.K.) there is a little metal switch that flips your beam direction for driving on the other side of the road. This is accessible by removing the rubber seal from the main beam light and inside you will find a small lever. Flick it one way for RHD and the other for LHD! Easy! They control fine left and right beam adjustments. Image Unavailable, Please Login And another thing... If you are finding that getting your headlights in and out are a tight squeeze, on the inner side of the headlight there is a metal wheel - turn clockwise and it extends out and guess what... counter clockwise it goes back in. You can use this to make it easier to get the headlight in and out! Image Unavailable, Please Login Anyone who gets stuck, PM me and I will happily help you out (on phone if necessary).
