One of my pop-up headlights doesnt want to pop up. I can lift it up mannually but it falls back down. The light itself however is still working. I don't see any diagrams in the owners manual that would show what is broken. I'd like to fix this myself it is a simple problem. Any thoughts?

    Check the fuses.

If you pick it up and it just drops, you may have had a nut come off that holds the control arm to the housing.

But check the fuses and relays first.

If your description of the symptoms is correct, then it appears that your headlight bucket is not attached to the headlight motor. It isn't easy to take a photo of the linkage, this is the best I could do. The "cranked" piece is the arm that actually attaches to the motor shaft. The linkage rod has a ball socket on each end, one end attaching to the cranked arm, the other end attaching to the headlight bucket, with a threaded rod in the middle for adjustment.

    Possibilities:
    1) One of the ball sockets has popped off.
    2) The adjustment rod has come unscrewed.
    3) The bracket on the headlight bucket has come unwelded.
    4) The nut holding the cranked arm onto the motor shaft has loosened and the shaft is spinning on the arm.

I'll bet you can fix it, but there isn't much room to work around there!

I'll attach the picture of the linkage and the diagram from the parts book (348).

    Good Luck!

While we're on the subject... is there a way to prevent the headlights from shaking so much? I imagine I could just tighten up a few bolts, but I'm not sure if it's normal for them to shake so much to begin with.

Ditto on the fuse. It is in the left front of the trunk. I had a problem and it was the fuse.
