I have an 87 328. Has anyone upgraded the headlights to something better, and if so what was done? Thanks
Hi - this has been discussed before - use the 'search' function for 328 headlights and you'll find a number of previous threads on this. Me? I don't drive at night Ok - bad answer. Jedi
More than you ever wanted to know using the "search" function. Here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65424 Pay attention to the posts by "scheinwerfermann", that is Dan Stern. He sells the right stuff.
Thanks for the responses. But I DO use the search before I post any question. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or I'm not starting on the right page, because I didn't find anything even close to the great information people pointed me to which was already here. Any ideas about what I'd doing wrong when I search? Thanksa
i too do not drive after dark if possible. however, i did purchase a pair of h4, 55/60 watt cibie headlights from daniel stern. they illuminate the road comparable to a 21st century road car, which is to say light years ahead of the sealed beams they replaced. well worth the price tag and easy to install.
I did the relay mod to eliminate the 2+ volt wiring drop and high current through the switches. The result was surprising brightness with the standard OEM bulbs. Search on 'headlight 308 bright' for additional possibilities. Using 'headlight 328 bright' will yield about the same results.
