Does anyone know of the modern approximation of the headlight on the 365GT4. I've got a low beam out.

You could use a Hella conversion:

    H5006 5-3/4" Round E-code Hi-Lo Conversion Headlamp Kit.

    Thanks,

I found them at someplace called rallylights.com, and apparently they come in many flavors of color(?) and wattage in sets of two. I gather I want two sets. Do you have any thought on wattage or the tinting?

You might consider using the original wattage considering the miserably puny wiring in our cars. But, if you must..there some great threads on the subject of upgrading the headlamp wiring harness. Just a thought...

That is where I bought mine from, recommended by blkprlz on this forum. I went for:

    1. Product ID: H5001
Product Name: H5001 Hella 5-3/4" Dia H1 E-code Conversion High Beam Headlamp Kit
Attributes (if any): Choose H1 Bulbs - H5001H 55W, Hella High Performance Xenon Blue
    Price: $127.04
    Quantity: 1
    2. Product ID: H5006
Product Name: H5006 5-3/4" Round E-code Hi-Lo Conversion Headlamp Kit
Attributes (if any): Choose H4 Bulbs - H5006F 60/55W Hella Premium Xenon Blue

I'd recommend adding a relay to each side so the headlight voltage comes straight from the battery. Regardless of original or high wattage bulb. That way the wiring and switch are limited to low relay coil current and not subject to failure. Plus lights will be brighter not having the voltage drop of the switch and long wire path.
