    I'm looking to do an interior color change (from tan to black). Part of that is changing the headliner fabric from tan to grey. I've found a place (SMS fabrics) that can match the fabric but they need an sample which I don't have. Does anyone happen to have a damaged headliner (total moonshot) or know of a vendor that has the fabric available? I've checked with Reoriginals and GAHH already

    How large of a piece of headliner material do you need for the sample? The spare targa top for my GTS has the grey headliner material and I might be able to remove a small piece from the back side of one of its headliner panels for you. I would like to change these panels to tan to match my interior but have not been able to find a source for the tan headliner material either.

    I wasn’t referring to the OP. Re original has the beige not the material for the black interior.

    The reason I mentioned it is because he might be able to supply the old headliner to the OP if he is able to secure the correct color for his interior.

    I contacted them about this material to make sure it was the same as the tan/brown in my 355 and they said it is for the older cars and would not match. Has anyone purchased this headliner material for their 355 and found it was a match to the original?

    Hard to say with them. I ordered the right color carpet from them and it was wrong. Its a 348 btw. So I reluctantly ordered the darker 355 carpet for the tan/beige interior as they had my money already and wouldn't you know it... it was the right 348 carpet color but with the 355 plush and wrong for the 355. Ask for a sample. Carpet it super freaking nice Wilton wool. No issue with quality.

    Hi Dan,

    I just need a small piece. SMS in Oregon said they can match it. Incidentally, once I get mine done, you are welcome to my tan headliner. Perhaps it can be reused but, if not, you can have someone like SMS copy it. I'll send you a PM.

    Note also that I've asked Matteo at Reoriginals to see if he can source the fabric. He's checking with sources in Italy. Will update everyone with what he finds out.
