I have a friend locally that has the "collapsed headliner" syndrome.
We helped him take the whole assembly out of the car, peeled the adhesive and foam
    from the molded cardboard.
    Boy, is the stuff cheap!

We have a common friend that will be traveling, and need to find a good source for foam backed material (cloth, alcantara, etc.) that will be suitable, and he will bring it back with him.

Anyone have a source in the USA for quality material?

    Thank you.

    Regards, Alberto

Thank you, but all they seem to offer is for other models or classic cars.
This Coupe is a 2004, so anything similar will do.

Easiest thing to do is go to a local home goods store and pick out your material and foam( they carry high end materials) purchase some really good spray adhesive. Cut the foam to shape and glue it on, let it dry then glue the material on and spread out the wrinkles. Make sure you leave enough overlap of material to glue to the board. It will work as well as the factory stuff.

The vintage Jaguar Sedans like 3.8S, Mark2, etc. used a really nice material with a foam backing applied. I have installed many. It may be an easy fix. Call XK's unlimited or that place in Gwent.....ask for Margret if you can understand her.

    Thank you all!

Franzini Bros. in San Rafael, CA. helped me procure the material, top notch stuff and terrific guys to work with.

As far as the gluing, never use spray adhesive, only contact cement is the approved stuff.
Will post photos of end product.

    Regards, Alberto
