Headroom 308 GTB carburettor vs QV seats

Hi community, I am already owning a Dino 308 GT4 where I fit perfectly although being 6,6" (or 198cm) tall but very slim. I am now contemplating a 308 GTB and I have driven a 77 (i.e. carb version) but I would be keen to know whether the later models like the QV with their entirely different seat design offer more or less head/legroom for large drivers. In other words, could a 84 QV be a better choice for a tall driver?
