    Watching the Patriots vs. Colts game, a commerical for 60 Minutes came on, and i saw a Carrera GT taking off. Just a heads up for those who want to see it.

    I saw a little of that too. It was really nothing, just a guy telling what kind of exotic cars he owns.

    Ummm.....that was not "just a guy". That was Tom Perkins. He did to Silicon Valley what Steve Wynn did to the Vegas Strip. Took risks and built an empire.

    Saw the piece on 60 minutes. I found his personal sailboat (apparently one of the largest in the world) with a cost somewhere between 100 million and 300 million far more impressive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Maltese_Falcon_%28yacht%29

    The masts are carbon fiber, probably explaining the difficulty getting carbon fiber bits and pieces these days!
