    The heat shield on my 348 is falling apart and I ordered a new one from Ricambi which just came in today. I noticed there is a sticky side on the shield but I had bought adhesive to secure it to the hood. Has anyone tried replacing their heat shield and if so did you have to use the adhesive or just peel the backing off and stick it to the top.

    I used an aircraft adhesive when I replaced mine. Pliobond Part # 09-28000

    Mine were missing when I bought my 348. Looks better without them. Although my interest is to keep my 348 all stock this is one item I can live without.
