heated seats

just wanted to share some information with some of you just in case you dont already know ... ive seen the question come up a couple of times, so i went to the dealership to get the answer. (i wanted to add them to my car order)

whats the deal with heated seats

first off heated seats were never offered on the 430 spider ... they were offered for a couple years in the coupe

the reason they cannot put them on is because of the airbag issue. they do not have enough depth in the seat in order to put the required airbag sensors required by the new laws and the heating pad.

I wonder and hope that the 430 spider replacement will have heated seats. Thanks for the info. I was wondering that myself.
