My 911 1985 needs a replacement heater, slider control, mechanism and cables.
Does anybody know where these old parts may be available (Porsche don’t list them anymore, discontinued) in the UK.
Is there an old Porsche graveyard that may have these old parts.
    Thanks

Not sure, but Steve Culver at CPR Classic in Fallbrook, California may either have one or have a source. Maybe start there…

    Thanks for your help.
Fortunately my mechanic found one in his bin.
Apparently the heater slider control assy mechanism differs from left hand drive cars to right hand drive cars (mines RHD C16) with various changes over the years to the design.
    Joys of classic ownership.

I learned something - had no idea they’re different on RHD. Maybe your dealer could request one through Porsche Classic just so they consider reproducing that part.
