Is this the correct cable attachment to the heater control valve on a 69 Ghibli? The black accelerator cable
linkage to the passenger side of the carbs runs right through the path of the operation of the cable, causing it to bind.

    Thanks in advance,
    Frank from Florida

Thank you for responding. My real question here is HOW the cable attaches to the arm of the heather control valve. It is coiled at the end (as shown in the parts assembly manual) but the illustration does not show exactly where and how it attaches to the arm itself. Does the coiled end go around the lever (as shown in my picture) or should it route through the small hole at the other end of the lever bracket?
    Thanks,
    Frank

Thanks for the tip. I'll install one in the hole on the arm and it should work perfectly.

Not sure how that would solve the problem. Seems to me the accelerator cable needs to be rerouted.
