Tell me about, also have to visit the hospital at 10.30 to see my Mum who is there at the moment. Have to walk the Pup sometime today also, she loves her walks. :D:D

Have to also hit the gym and the pool. Gunna be a busy one today. :D:D

Also want to drive the Ferrari before I get back to work tomorrow night, but I dont think that is going to happen. I will start her up in the garage and let her run for a while to charge the battery so it doesnt go flat so I Can drive her next days off. The battery is ****ed, need a new one. One day. :p:p

I lost a day off this week because of our mandatory training day for work. ****en ****s, pay us $500 for a 6 hr day to sit in a classroom and listen to crap. Id rather not get paid and have that day off. We have to do 3 a year, $500 each day. GREAT money, but its boring. :(:(

It's tuff at the top Pap...

You should take the 348 to work this week, its fun using them as normal transport every now and again, makes it seem "real".

I have NO problem taking the 348 to work. :):)

The problem is when I bring the car home. :D:D

It sits outside all day or night if I dont bring it in and lock it in the garage.:eek:

Its a 20 min job to get the car in and out because of Poncho. :(:(

I used to take the Ferrari work every now and then a year or two ago. When I build the new garage I will probably drive it work most days. :D:D

The new garage will an electric roller door. No more opening and closing gates. ;);)

Might want to do something about that garage soon then. We need a hoist to do your engine out so make sure you get high stud and add a hoist to the shopping list. 3 Phase power will help too ;)

    Get on to it...

    Is it done yet??

    What about now???

Actually..............I was thinking of building a 6 car garage, with 3x double roller doors. Tiled, a/c, ceiling with down lights etc..etc. :D:D

Now.............I am thinking I will do a 6 car garage, have 4 bays tiled, downlights, ceiling etc..etc. and the last roller door/bay leave that as my workshop/service bay. Will put a hoist in there and my tools etc..etc. :D:D

I will put a dividing wall inbetween the 2, so it looks good on the "showroom" side and then have a single door in the corner to access the "workshop". :D:D

I cant wait. I can start building it now, but am going to buy another investment property first. With the left over coin, will build a garage. :D:D

ALMOST bought a red/tan Testarossa the other day for CHEAP!! I MEAN DIRT CHEAP! :D:D

But turned it down because I want to buy another investment property and I dont have anywhere to garage the 2nd Ferrari.:eek:

Got the pressure tester fitted up on Saturday, started with 50psi of pressure, had a look around in the heater box, no sign of leaks, up the pressure to 80psi, inspect and still no leak. I then removed the pressure tester and refitted the tank cap, ran the car up to temp and inspected again, still no leaks visible. Heater core warmed up and hoses had pressure. One interesting thing I noticed that is worth a mention is when I first removed the tank cap there was pressure there, even after sitting unused for 2 weeks.

I can now assume the leak is intermittent, I have removed the heater core and both hoses, I have sent the heater core away for testing today and I have new hoses to fit once it is back. I figure if I replace everything then the leak has to be sorted...

There was coolant on both hoses and sprayed around inside the heater box, this indicates to me that the leak is internal, I am going to double check the valve and circulation motor for any signs of leaking but so far they have looked fine.

I hope the guys find a hold in the heater core, otherwise this is a mystery...

Just heard back about my heater core, tested fine, no leaks.

Hope to have it back tomorrow and throw it back in with the new heater hoses over the weekend.

Shaping up to be a busy one so I hope I get time...

Got her all back together on Saturday, topped up the coolant checked the bleed points and took her for a run, no leaks at all.

I have a bunch of photos and will do a write up on the procedure when I get the spare time.

I still have all the liners out of the boot as I am going to keep an eye on it over the next few drives to make sure nothing leaks out.

Very happy with my efforts :)

500 kms yesterday and no leaks.

I left the boot liner out to make it easy to see if there were any leaks, now I know its good I'll button everything up and set about writing up the "how to" article..
