Hey, From Autosport: Two rookies obviously isn't working too well for 'em right now...... I wonder what happens if he's quicker than the incumbents?..... Cheers, Ian Heikki Kovalainen rejoins Caterham as reserve driver - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com
Always seemed a nice guy, and nice that he can keep his hand in, hope he help show some pace for them. Trouble is nice guy doesn't = a ruthless win at all costs type. Always found this pic funny though.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
+1 Sure seems that way...... However, I reckon the problem is they've got no 'benchmark'. Are they both completely useless? Or is the car another Clifford? Will the 'upgrades' make it quicker? (Most drivers want to 'please' their teams IME - They'll say 'it feels better' 'cos they know how hard the guys have worked.... Takes balls to say 'it sucks'..... Kimi being one of the few exceptions of course. ) It'll be interesting to see how he does IMO. Cheers, Ian
I'm sure he is going to kick but with the motivation a drive like this can bring. Even if he shines I think he is past his expiration date. Two rookies on a team make no sense to me as no-one knows what the standard should be.
Did you guys also hear? They are letting another pay driver Gonzalez step into the Marussia for FP1 instead of Bianchi!
What! I suppose Chilton needs the extra hours in the car though . I'm sure Bianchi will obliterate Chilton this race still.
+1 I guess they *really* need the $ In other, other news; - Lettuce gets a new tub in an attempt to figure out why he sucks (Cooks version ) - Heikki will drive the "old" spec car in Bahrain (VDG's) and Pic's new spec version in Spain. From Autosport; "It's not an easy car"?.... How would he know? Cheers, Ian Kovalainen hopes Caterham Friday chance leads to F1 race return - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com
