Here is a copy of the letter I got... ;)

    DEAR FERRARI OWNER

Due to a billing error our, service department erroneously charged an amount equal to $15,650.00 for the servicing of your Ferrari on November 12th 2005, which your wife so graciously paid for in full upon her arrival.

We wish to express our gratitude for your patronage by refunding a total of 1% in the form of a check for the amount of $156.50

We look forward to servicing you in the future

P.s. Check is only good for 48 hours after which the bank will be notified and a stop payment issued.

    Sincerely

    Xxxx Xxxxxxxx

If it's an error, why do you only have 48 hours? And how did they get 1%? Seems to me they owe you more and want you to cash the check to shield them of further claims.

    YOU GUYS ARE SO FUNNY!!!
I was feeling a little down today, but you lifted my spirits. I actually got a letter from my Ferrari dealership stating that the State of California refunded some money on the registration I paid (as part of the purchase) and that they were passing the refund on to me. Enclosed was a check for 330 dollars! I am saving the letter and took a picture of the check.
    Merry Christmas!

    Mike,

it wasn't charity that got you a refund. Check your purchase contract - the California DMV fees were ESTIMATED when you bought your car.

But, if you still want to believe in Santa Claus - He'll come down the chimmney next week.

You better put out your cookies for Rudolf.

I knew something was strange. It was actually the State that gave you back the money. They just sent it to the wrong address.

Yeah, like a Ferrari dealer will admit to over charging, NOT!
