    It's sitting pretty high in the rear, looks like it doesn't have a motor. It is a 996 so no surprise there! (I'm a bit jaded as my wife's 996.2 went kaput earlier this year)

    Strangely enough not, it was a bad cylinder. It was uneventful, you'd think it would go down in a blaze of glory (e.g. loud bang, oil everywhere) but upon start up one morning it just ran horribly.

    My P-car specialist said that cylinder issues in these motors are pretty common, but not often talked about as IMS/RMS issues seem to be always in the forefront.
