Just wanted to say hi. I don't own a Ferrari but I hope I can change that sometime. I don't know when but it will be at least a couple years. I've been a huge Ferrari fan since I was a child and just hope that my obsession with owning one doesn't end up with me devorced and living in the front seat of one. I know no matter what I buy it will not be a garage queen. I've had a few very enjoyable cars and I told myself I wouldn't drive them all the time, and yet I still put 30,000 miles on them within the first year(that's with a daily driver for work).

I guess I'm going to be shooting for a 308, 328, or 348 (in red) to get me started. Sad thing is that I have such a desire for one and I have never even sat in one. I want to learn as much as possible about those cars as far as what to look out for when shopping for those models. What are some good resources for info about the mechanical side of Ferrari? I'm pretty good with cars so I might even buy one to put a little work into.

That's it for now, I guess you all will get various questions from me from time to time. Hopefully someday I can count myself as one of the few privleged in the world to own a legend.

Hi Chris. One of the first things to check out is if you will fit. The 308 is a tiny car without much leg room. I'm 6'3"+ and only barely fit my GTS because I'm skinny. I drive with special narrow shoes because of the cramped pedals. If I wear a baseball cap, the button on top hits the roof.....about 1/4" clearance! Always bumping my head on the rearview mirror too. However, none of that matters once underway. A drive in the red car is usually the most exciting part of the day.
