Hey all I just wanted to say, that I myself am starting a forum about cars, and I would like to invite you all to visit it, and hopefully become a member that posts There's no particular reason why I made it, it's not to compete as it is about all cars, not Ferrari specificly. I value all of you on here very high, and I would love it if you would participate. I need some mods also - There won't be much happening in the beginning, thats a given is it is fairly unknown. But I hope that I can be a great place discussing cars with people from alot of places - This is mainly Americans, and I hope that there will be just as many Americans over on this board, along with a lot more Europeans and other nationalities. That's why I want to create it. I have alot of names I want to use, but does anyone have any good suggestions, I am very eager to hear them Now, do anyone know how I can maximize hits? You say you want a more global approach? Just some ideas, how about: Shift 360 -- Worldwide Car Forum GCE -- Global Car Enthusiasts U.N.A.F. -- United Nations Automobile Forum Maximize hits? I'm fairly clueless about website design, but read up on search engine optimization. Plenty of articles out there. Do a search in the Business & Investments section as well, some articles on it there.

Start with just three forums: A "Cars" forum, an "Off Topic" forum (and a Carbon McCoy Fanclub forum) and just leave it like that... As more and more people flock to your board, start splitting up threads based on what most of the conversations are about... If a majority of the people that come to your board want to discuss Morris Minor 1000s, then add a fourth forum... Now your forums would consist of "Cars", "Morris Minor 1000s", "Off Topic" and a place for the world to praise me... Break up the board according to its most popular conversations; pre-determining what people will and should talk about, I find, doesn't turn out to be too successful... Just my two Rubles...
It wont be split up to much in the beginning. I'll keep it to a minimum. But it will be split up into marques from the beginning
