    Just wanted to hear some of you guys here, where it would be cheapest to fly back home to Europe from when in Miami? Me and my friend will end our trip down in your beautiful sunshine state, and we wanted to hear which airport was cheapest as our guess was, that the big airports in Miami was a lot more expensive than the smaller ones around Miami. (e.g Fort Worth a lot cheaper to fly to than Dallas)

    Miami International is the only one with direct flights to Europe. The small airports around Miami are only private and charter flights. No regular flights to Europe, unless you know the owner of a G5 and can hitch a ride.

    That includes Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach, as they only have connecting flights, whcih will cost you more.

    Check flights from orlando.... Disney traffic keeps rates down. May be cheaper... maybe not. it varies.

    You might find direct or semi-direct flights to Germany from Sarasota; Icelandair has direct flights out of Sanford (just north of Orlando). Jonas...did you go to Orlando? Would have liked to have met you. Simon...give me a call about next Sunday. Wifey out of town!

    I flew LTU, actually contolled by Luftansa. REally nice low price airline. There was a flight attendent named Hilda, the perfect caricature of a German frau: square shoulders, as wide as she was tall.
