First off, welcome to fchat. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience on this board. I have met a lot of great people and have developed a wealth of relationships.

I am not for one starting off on a negative note. But a feel you pics in your initial post are weighted towards promoting your business as they progress from personal shots to ones in front of your shop. And yes a fellow member asked about your services after the hard to miss promo. As a paying sponsor on this board in defense of others with similar offered services. You may want to consider a paid sponsorship to promote your business.

Thats outstanding! You sound very talented and passionate about the line of work you do which is great. On the forum their is a Detailing and Showroom section. I think you would find some very interesting threads and perhaps you could contribute your knowledge and your own experiences. I have have owned many exotics in the past 10 years and I do all of my own detailing, paint correction on my own cars. I have never had my sports cars cleaned or detailed by anyone but myself so I share your passion!

 

+1. It's hard not to feel like this is just an effort at self promotion and its unfair to those sponsors who have spent their hard earned money to be able to promote their business on this site.

I think as an introduction it is perfectly fine. It usually becomes clear pretty quickly who is on here because of their mutual interest in Ferraris or the local sports car community and who is here to try and make a quick buck.

...Not sure we needed 5 pics. of ourselves. 3 in front of our own shop and the rest of clients cars. It is pretty rare that any of us posted one pic. of ourselves let alone 5 when we first said hello.

Well, with the guidelines about promotion and sponsorship hopefully clear, I would like to steer us back to welcoming a new member. However, I do have one question for Mike Berardi...







...are increases in gravity proportional to proximity with your Ferraris? I couldn't help but notice your legs seem to collapse beneath you when consenting to pose for a photo.

You have got to be kidding me! As if Bob Craig's posts on the other thread were perfectly acceptable and it is OK on this thread for Joe Zaff to call Berardi a "self promoter" and was "unfair" and for others here who also said to put him on a "short leash" and "give him enough rope". Puhleeeze, give me a freakin' break.

I can't help but wonder if your Ferraris were barn finds and some of you were raised in the very same barn! Gawd, get some manners!
