I am a new Ferrari owner, and I'd like to introduce myself. After many excruciating months of searching and looking for the perfect car, I finally got my 360 Modena, my first Ferrari and the car of my dreams! All the trouble and waiting has been worth it. It's a yellow 99 F1, and I love it! It's absolutely stunning, and the previous owner took excellent care of it. It's new to the Atlanta scene - fresh off the truck from California.

I'm definitely interested in meeting the other Atlanta owners, especially to see for myself some of the mods people have done to their 360s. I am planning to get an exhaust soon and it would be great to hear some of them in person first.

Are there any upcoming events or gatherings? I am mainly interested in driving and track events, but the occasional car show/meet and greet would be fun too. I have been known to occasionally take in a brew at some of the good beer bars around town, in case anyone is interested.

One question: Will most of you put your cars away for the winter, or do you keep them running year-round as the weather permits?

    Hope to see everyone around,

Tom (GT Alum - CS 03)

Well, if East Cobb is convenient to you, you can come to the monthly morning gathering at The Avenue East Cobb this coming Saturday from 8:30 to 11 AM. This show usually has 60-70 cars of all types and nationalities; usually there are about 8-10 Porsches and a few Ferraris (including mine) and other European cars. We've had Dinos, F430s and current Lamborghinis at times. No admission, no judging, just a good time with other car nuts.

Watch this forum for more info later in the week.

Living it Atlanta, you'll have plenty of Ferrari activity to keep you busy. You should join the FCA

Welcome Tom, we can't wait to see your 360. As was mentioned earlier there is a good show in East Cobb and Giovanni's is always a good time.

Hope to see you this weekend in East Cobb.

    Tom,

    Some suggestions:

1.) Contact Charles Claussen (Atlantaman on f-chat) to get lowdown on FCA activities in Atlanta

2.) Keep the 3rd saturday of every month open. The "guys" meet in Suwanee at a restaurant called "Giovannis" that day. It is open to all-not just Ferraris, but we get a good turnout and have a good time.

    PM me for more info.

    Welcome Tom,

Nice to hear that a new owner is in Atlanta, be sure to come to the Giovanni's show and meet the family. Did you get your yellow 360 from a guy named Tom also? His was for sale and I remember it being mint, he is as fanatic as it gets with cars. I sold him my Diablo last year.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I look forward to meeting everyone this Saturday and at future events!

No I did not get my car from Tom. It's a So Cal car from someone who doesn't post online.
