Hello from Arizona

Hello....not sure why I never got involved with FerrariChat sooner, as I've been a lifelong Ferrari fanatic. Long story short: In the late 1970's my parents were buying a Volvo station wagon from Brentwood Volvo in St Louis, Missouri, which at the time was also a Ferrari dealer. I was about 5 years old at the time and went with them to pick up the Volvo and on the showroom floor was a yellow 308. It was surrounded by velvet ropes and the most exotic thing I'd ever seen.

Since then, I've mainly been a Porsche guy when it comes to ownership but I've always been passionate about Ferraris. About 100 yards from where I sit right now, in Scottsdale, there are TWO original Ferrari GTOs as well as a 250 LM and a 1957 Testa Rossa. (not going to disclose the owner but it may already be obvious). I've been lucky enough to drive some great Ferraris but never took the ownership plunge. I've also seen a couple McLaren F1s and even a red Pagani Zona on the roads here. Scottsdale is an exotic car paradise!

However, I've now decided that my first one ought to be the first one I fell in love with, so I'm on the hunt for a 308. I figured it was a good first step.
