hello just trying to get a perspective of the people who own these cars. I am looking to get into a 348 this year and am very much a car guy had rx7,nsx, Porsche 964 and my last car was a mint 03 mach 1 with a supercharger making 500hp. but not a sexy car I missed the handling of the rx and the coolness of the Porsche . I was a active pca member and loved all the car shows and meets and drives but found the 30% were car guys and the other were just very rich look at what I can buy kind of people and that's ok its just I am a mid 30s self employed mechanic car lover and the f car is on my list ,and I like the 348 I think 80s cars are cool ... but that said if the car club people are not so cool it ruins the car experience i.e rx7 clubs are mostly kids with street racing attitudes and mustang guys just like drag racing. thanks and I hope I have not put this in the wrong spot or pissed any one .just want to see if the red life style is for me, 30% of Porsche is lol.

Just like any other specific vehicle/marque, there will be diversity among the group.

I would say most are genuinely interested and passionate about the cars but there are some f-car owners I would gladly never encounter again :) ....and some just the opposite.

I can think of a certain member from Calgary who has the same vehicles as you (kmr968turbo: widebody 968 - supercharged nsx - fdrx7 on the lift http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/472238-help-design-garage.html)

I'm 29 years old, got into a 95' 348 spider last year, simply wonderful vehicle, no plans to ever sell as it brings a smile to my face everytime I start it up. Have not taken my vehicle to any shows but have talked to fellow f-car owners at our local euro show and everybody was most pleasant.

Pull the trigger, you won't regret it!

Welcome Tyler....Check this one out or just drop by there and meet some great people.

Its a 92 348 GTS at Daytona auto in Woodbridge Ont. It was previously owned by a meticulous person and has lots of Carbon parts.

looks good but I am going to be looking in the 35-40 range cnd. I run a auto repair and body shop so I am not scared by lack of history or a car with a title. just missed out on one with a light hit , went to a good guy a other shop in town hear. I think its f car time I like the lotus also but British car shows are a strange place. lol any way thanks.

I am waiting for the snow to melt so I can put my Esprit up for sale and fund my own 348 purchase. Let me know if you have any interest!

Welcome to the forum. I purchased my f355 in my 30s and love it. Just make sure you totally understand the cost of ownership as I find myself justifying the cost of maintaining the car to my friends. I love it and feel that the costs are justified as nothing I drive gives me the feeling of the f car. For reference my daily driver is a highly modified 2007 mustang gt and I occasionally drive a 2013 sl550, never taken my cars to car shows.

    welcome Tyler!

    348's are great, and often under-loved Fcar's.

I've had mine for maybe 8 years, and at 50yo don't see any need to change her. I came from a '97 SVT Cobra convt, but never did a car show with the Mustang, where I do tend to join a few FCA shows and stuff each year.
