I'm going to buy a 328GTS once I find the right car and drove one for the first time at a shop a reasonable distance from Raleigh. I've driven a 355, 360, 430 and new California before and outside of those cars not being affordable (355 due to service cost) I've decided the 328 is still a classic looking and beautiful car that is fast enough to be fun but won't get me locked up. Unfortuntely of the four 328's in this guys stock one is a little rough with no records, a GTB with 12k miles that's out of my price range at $70k, another silver GTB that's out of my price range, and the last 328 is an '89 GTS 40k mile asking $55k but has those ugly convex wheels. I'm trying to buy as local as possible so I'm not flying around the us trying to find the right car. Any advice from the veterens on f-chat about things to look for beside the must have service records & ppi? Thanks.

Welcome aboard and I wish you the best with your search! Yes the 328 is still a classic looking and beautiful car. As far as being fast enough, you really don't need to prove anything with that car. It's a Ferrari and it's beautiful. You may want to post what you are looking for in the 328 section. Lots of folks here with tons of knowledge...
