I purchased a 1995 Ferrari 348 Spider Classic Red/Tan color combo about 3 weeks ago & I love my new baby. I have put over 400 miles on in the last 2 weeks (very hard to do here in the land of constant drizzle/rain). What a joy this car is to drive. The sound of the V-8 is absolutely intoxicating. I have a few projects/upgrades that are being done on Tuesday: 1) window accelerators to solve the slow up/down 2) purchased a set of the factory/OEM 17" wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports to get rid of the chrome 19" bling versions that came on my car 3) Installing all new billet Aluminum pedals (including dead pedal) 4) Installing the matching Aluminum passenger foot rest 5) install Billet aluminum all turn signal/wiper stalk ends 6) install the aluminum trim rings for all the gauges/speedo/tach/ect 7) New custom carpet mats - black with a tan 7" cavallino. pic of my baby at the dealership. Beautiful car! Too bad you don't like the chrome aftermarket wheels. They give the car an aggressive stance and fill out the wheel wells. The chrome sets off the red too. I like 'em. Enjoy! Rob
Rob, The 19" Chrome 10 spoke AXXIS wheels & Pirelli P-Nero tires are for sale if anybody is interested please PM me.
Discount tires has pirelli Nero zero 235/35 zr-19 91Y XLB listed for $235.00 By the way I was in Portland a couple of days ago, and yes it was the usual cold and rainy, pretty common for this time of year. Nice and green with waterfalls all along I-84. And the snow in meacham, too.
Hi Michael, Thanks, but don't need any wheels right now. But those do look really good on your car. Plus, modern low profile tires will definitely help with the handling. Maybe you could just toss them up in the attic in case you change your mind later. Maybe it's because I live in SoCal that I prefer the bling to the stock wheels. Wait a second, I was born in Eugene, Oregon! Rob
