    Hey,

I've made a deal on that black 355 at FOH and if the test drive works out I will be driving it back to Northern California. If anybody out there wants to meet for an ealry dinner that would be great. I am going to try and make some headway on Friday night, because it's only about 2000 miles to my house. A little longer actually, since I'm going to try and drive through Vegas saturday night, as I did with my last purchase.

Hope some of you can make it, I would like to meet some of my fellow texas f-chatters.

TY and others thanks for your help!

A great many will have already departed for the Ferrari get-together in San Antonio. Congrats on your purchase! Also, how early is early? Maybe we could get together- I'd like to see the new beast!

Hey Vincent, in case you didn't see it in no355's post, a lot of the TX F-chatters will be in San Antonio Friday night. Mr. Ferrari will be there as well. I believe the festivities start at 7:00. You might be able to work out a deal with the organizers to join us? I think they're expecting 40+ Ferraris. You'll probably be driving through San Antonio anyway?

Wow, sounds like something big going on in San Antonio. Can one of you guys post the particulars and some directions. I will be going through at some point that evening. Would be nice to stop by and say hello.

The scenery is what it is, if only the car had been in the Northwest. Oh well, I've promised myself to always drive a new Ferrari home. The scenery will get better in Vegas...

Hope to see some of you in Houston anyway! and some of you in San Antonio!

Vincent: save yourself the trouble and don't drive it!!!

I did this drive over the past summer. Took me 25 hours non-stop from Houston to Hillsborough (well, 3 hours stop for a bent rim). It was one of the most miserable drives you can imagine. 10 goes on for AGES and doesn't change in the least bit.

Give me a call before you make the drive...

Vincent, you sound like you are in a hurry, but... if you want to ramble a bit, I'll be driving to San Antonio tomorrow all on back roads. PM me if you want to tag along.

    Congratulations!

Just in case. When you get to the Ft. Davis exit on I-10 TAke it and drive south. Its a great drive, with great curves. Then stay at the the Limpia Hotel. I did the drive last summer coming back from El Paso. They even let me park my car in their carport to protect it.

    Enjoy the drive!

    Nick

Vincent! Congratulations! I drove a car from Colorado to CA. Reminded me why I wanted to live in CO and CA, but nowhere inbetween! (didn't go through TX however.)
