Hi. I'm new to ferrarichat.com. I am from Sweden and I'm only 14 years old, so My english is not perfect. I have been a Porsche guy for a long time, but i have allways thought that the Maranello is the best looking car. The reason why I love Porsche so much is because they make lighter cars, and when they need more power in a car they just turbocharge it, not give the car a bigger hevier engine, that needs more fuel. Anyway my question to you is; if you could change anything about the 575, what whould you change? I mean, what should Ferrari done different? By the way, what do you think of hydrgon as fuel in cars? I'm not talking about fuel cells, I'm talking about regular piston engines.
You speak better English than any 14 year old in America speaks Sweedish. Or probably any other language, for that matter. Don't be so humble, I am very impressed! With that out of the way - welcome! Interesting question about the 575. The engine is supposebly wonderful, and while the lines may not be for everyone, they are what Ferrari had in mind for this car, which is supposed to remind us of the Daytona. I like the air intakes, and I like the interior. If it would be possible to make it lighter, I think that's the only thing that I would change. Some will say that they would change it by making it mid-engined, but that's not changing the 575, that's making a whole new car!
Welcome, Mange Imho the Maranello needs a better sound. The V12 needs at higher revs a much more agressive sound. I love my 575, but I'm always jealous of the sound of my friends 360.
