    Hi all,

Well I recieved the biggest surprise yesterday. My girlfriend told me that she wants to give me a replica helmet for my birthday. So I can now choose which one I would like to get.

but I want to have it look pretty realistic so can you guys maybe help me out with the decission and if it's "looks close" to the real thing?

    1st choice
    http://www.f1-helmets.com/michael-schumacher-2004-replica-helmet-p-170.html?cPath=27

    2nd choice
    http://www.f1-helmets.com/michael-schumacher-1996-replica-helmet-p-159.html?cPath=27

    3rd choice
    http://www.f1-helmets.com/michael-schumacher-2000-replica-helmet-p-220.html?cPath=27
    or
    http://www.f1-helmets.com/michael-schumacher-2000-replica-helmet-p-164.html?cPath=27

    4th choice
    http://www.f1-helmets.com/michael-schumacher-2006-shanghai-replica-helmet-p-175.html?cPath=27

So if you guys have any suggestions, or maybe other websites where she can get these (similar price please) please post them!!!

Making a decision like this is pretty hard as I want them all :D

Also what I've noticed is that you can change things to the helmets (different visor/padding/remove or add decals)

    Thanks for your help!!!

Please make sure that you understand that these helmets are not authentic. The $599 cost does not even cover the cost of an authentic plain white helmet from Bell, Shoei, Arai, etcetera let alone the paint job.
Nowhere on the site you linked does it mention the brand of the helmet or the appropriate safety certification, date of manufacture, etc. nor does it make any mention of any material other than fiberglass.
I'd be very cautious about what you are actually getting since, at most, you are getting a motorcycle or karting helmet "dressed up" as a racing helmet.

Extra: just found the same website sells on Ebay at $475.00.

    Thanks for your response.

Yes I am aware of this. The purpose is just to display this in my living room. So it will not be worn by myself or anything.

    Thanks,
