Hey Ferrari Land. The top of the body nut, adapter thing a ma bob that goes on the antenna fell off somewhere. My antenna works great but without this thing the antenna ejects like the villian's in James Bond's Aston Martin. I went to autozone and matched the lenght of a replacement semi auto antenna but the antenna body mount requires a BIGGER hole. I am NOT drilling my car. Does anybody know where I can find a antenna with the correct body mount or does anybody have the part I need.

I have seached the threads and have read their solutions. I am hoping for a "local" fix.
    Thanks
    Dan

Hello there, Dan! Did you try either of our local Ferrari dealerships yet? Fox Valley Motorcars could probably even get one for you.

Otherwise, here are a few places that have Ferrari parts. But you'd have to order them....(Not Local) But would probably only take a few days, and it would be the exact, original part. No guessing.

Hello Frank, Thanks for the referrals. I tryed them all. No luck. I will try the stereo stores. This seems to be a common problem. Make sure yours is on tight.
    See you around:

Your antenna might be a Hirschmann so that is what I would ask for, when checking around for the nut.

Dan, there is a BOSCH parts distribution warehouse located right here in Broadview. On 25th Av. about a 1/2 mile or so SOUTH of Roosevelt Rd. They have all sorts of BOSCH and Blaupunkt parts....But....they cannot sell outright as a retailer to the general public. But maybe you can order what you need from their website. If not.....

I called them before, though, and he was really cool about helping me out and gave me the part numbers that I needed (I was getting some new BOSCH Relays for my 308) and all of the information. Then he told me to call an Auto Parts Store in Bensenville/Elmhurst called "Grand Auto Parts". It's located on the North side of Grand Av. (Where all of the Car Dealers are located) about 1/2 mile WEST of York Rd. I called them and they were able to order the part from BOSCH for me. Then I picked it up from them. I also got some proper Taillight bulbs for my 308 while I was there. They are really nice guys there at Grand Auto Parts....And, VERY Knowledgable , Real "Car Guys"....Not like what you get at the National Auto Parts store chains....."Huh?" "What?"....

Here is the info for BOSCH and Blaupunkt.

That stupid cap costs about 20 bucks and falls off all the time. I hate mine so much, that one day I'll put on different mirrors, just to avoid that problem.

Last time that I had to readjust my mirror, (It has a bad little habit of loosening about once or twice a year....usually when I am driving on the Highway and really need it to change lanes....:( ) I put a few dabs of black silicone on all of those little plastic pieces so that they won't fall off and get lost. The silicone easily rubs off when you want it to, so it won't hurt, damage or disfigure any of the plastic parts at all.
