    Goth, doesn't this condition sound familiar to you?! The state is taking the rpm signal from where, a spark plug wire using an induction sensor, by chance?

    The RPM information is also available via the OBD2 port.

    Exactly, that is why I asked if the station was using the magnetic clamp or getting the RPM from the OBDII port. Those magnetic clamps are interference prone and could use better isolation in my experience. :eek:
