Unlock car with remote, go to start it and I get a constant beeping noise. (like when ive left car in 1st gear) BUT dash says im in N (can apply brake hard and shift to Reverse or First and can hear the gearbox clunking to change behind me) But still when I go to start , nothing happens just beep beep beep beep cont ...

tried getting out locking car and unlocking ...same thing

also tried shutting down the power (in trunk) and recycling ...same problem.

The click, click, click you describe does indeed sound like the symptoms of a dead (car) battery. Normally a solenoid gets the instruction to complete a circuit which brings in the starting motor which has very heavy current draw. When the battery is very low the solenoid will pull in and immediately let go and do that over and over causing the click click sound.

Be aware that jump starting a Ferrari is not the way to go. It can cause serious damage. In order to absolutely eliminate the battery as the cause of the problem you should remove it from the car, charge overnight and then try again in the morning. Alternatively take a battery from another car and use it. It is possible for a battery to fail suddenly (although not common).

I've never encountered any beep, beep noises on my car (a Euro Manual) so can't help with that.

I imagine your alarm fob battery is OK because it's allowing you to open and close the door locks. If your alarm siren battery had suddenly died I understand it normally doesn't interfere with the driving of the car or the immobiliser so that's unlikely to be the problem.

However unlikely it sounds I'd be inclined to investigate the car battery first.

Hope this is of some assistance to you.
