Help! Actuator Shaft for 35 Shock...

    One of the actuator shafts (right rear) is broken on my '97 355. The shop says in order to get the part, they have to order an entire set of rear shocks. Anyone know how to get one without the whole assembly? He also says the part is specific to the right rear.

    Mike, it is a pretty simple swap out, using a punch to remove the roll pin. Seriously, if they were able to determine the bad part, they should be able to swap the gear out. If they cannot or will not, find another shop or do it yourself. I have not done it, but have read a few threads here and a buddy has done it...shouldn't be more than a 15 minute job.
