**I'VE RUN THIS BY ROB AND HE IS FINE WITH IT**

First off, let me explain why i am selling buttons. I belong to a group called Junior Achievers (www.ja.org). It is a group targeted at high school students. Here is the info that is on their website (its a lot easier for me to paste this than have me try to explain it)

"As high school students begin to position themselves for their future, there are many unanswered questions about what lies ahead. Junior Achievement's high school programs help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future, and fosters skills that will be highly useful in the business world."

Here is the specific link to what i do:

http://www.ja.org/programs/programs_high_coprgrm.shtml

We basically make our own products and sell them. The company with the most profit wins. We are competing against 3 other companies in my area.

So, now that you know what i do, i'd like to pitch some stuff at you guys.

One of the products that we are selling are buttons. These are regular round buttons that you see at fairs and stuff. They are handmade by us and made with care ;)

We can customize them to whatever you want on them. All you need to do is tell me what you would like (with as much detail as possible so we get it right) and the number of buttons you would like. The "stock" ones come with a regular pin on the back to attach to clothing etc BUT you can also order ones with magnets on the back that you can stick to almost anything (fridges etc etc). However, if you plan to get the magnet ones, you need to let me know at least a week in advance because we need to specially order the magnet backs. We can also make them with nothing on the back (no pin or magnet), its all up to you.

And, here's the part you've been waiting for....prices...

Quantity Price Point Total
1 $1.50 $1.50
50 $1.40 $70.00
100 $1.30 $130.00
150 $1.20 $180.00
200 $1.10 $220.00
250 $1.00 $250.00
500 $0.90 $450.00
1000 $0.80 $800.00

I have attached a sheet that shows you the actual button size (btw, Atlas is our company name in case you were wondering)

If anyone is interested or has any questions, please PM me or email me at [email protected] . Email is preferred.

Feel free to ask any questions

The company that will win will be the one that farms out the button manufacturing to a company in China. Turn-around would be fast via express mail and the profit would be higher.

A smart team on this mission may figure this out and kick some a$$.

THIS is what should be taught at JA if the kids want to get ahead in this world. Sorry to put a turd in the punchbowl, but that's real life!

PS: What you are doing is good. My company donates a lot to school programs locally and I think it does help.

Yes... Button idea is pretty cool and prices look good - especially for businesses... I'm thinking a bunch of buttons that say "134282"... :)

Go for it! :)

Paypal would be preferred but a check would be OK, but it may take longer to get them

I guess i would work out shipping depending on how many you order and where you are located

For the next 2-3 weeks, altho we can make them after that, but the profits will no longer go to the company. JA finishes in 3 weeks so i can still make them, its just that i'll be spliting the profits then. Trust me, our profits aren't that much.
