I just got the 1319 auxillary cable from Becker in NJ and followed all of the instructions from this forum, Becker and the owner's manual. Below is a picture of my current setup. I tried a hundered different ways pressing the * key but can't get "AUX" to appear on the radio so the radio will recognize the new input...What am I doing wrong? I also tried reconnecting the CD changer and it won't work now, it worked fine before I disconnected it. I would appreciate any advice. I will call Becker tomorrow. Thanks.

if you have a tp button or (bass/treble) hold that down for 8 seconds to get to the aux menu. There are 2 different menus and you are accessing the wrong one.... Lame instructions from becker. Good luck!

It comes out of the back of the radio. You can set it up however you want. The cable was $19.00 + $10.00 for the jack that goes into the mp3 player, etc. Google "Beckerautosound" to order the cable.

I am such an idiot. :) I pulled the trunk interior apart to disconnect the CD changer. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to just stick the Becker adapter in and leave the rest of the plug out...
